I hold a Master’s degree in Education, which means I know how to research, evaluate evidence, and cut through the noise. I apply that same approach to skincare: no influencer hype, no fluff, just honest research and real results.
I have had acne-prone skin since I was 13. Like a lot of people, my first stop was the dermatologist, but instead of things getting better, they got worse. The treatments were harsh, my skin barrier was a mess, and I was left feeling more frustrated and confused than when I started.
For years I did what most people do. I bought products based on influencer recommendations, trusted glowing reviews online, and hoped something would finally work. Some products made my breakouts worse. Others were overhyped, overpriced, and did absolutely nothing.
I am almost 24 now and the thing that finally changed everything was not a miracle product or a prescription. It was doing my own research. Once I started protecting my skin barrier, adding the right moisturizer, and choosing products that actually worked with my skin instead of against it, everything shifted. My skin calmed down, the constant battle between oiliness and dryness balanced out, and my stubborn acne finally started to clear.
